Sunrise is pretty packed and like concrete right now. Cyclone is empty, but the 46 degree weather is effecting it too. Bottom line, if you catch an edge, your not getting up too fast. lol

Went to do the fluids in the gear boxes, and rear differential on the 88 yesterday. Turns out all the plugs are seized. I soaked all of them in liquid wrench, and Pb blaster, and used a 3' cheater pipe on a breaker bar, and still nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions (outside of impact) to get these bitches off?

I almost want to drop it off at a shop and make it their problem, but I managed to the the front one off...after three hours. Had to force a 23mm socket over the plug, and use a 6ft cheater pipe, with two people pushing on it. With how bad their on I am a little worried as tof the condition of the fluids.

it only gets better. Big O did a free inspection of the front end before they attempted the alignment. They wouldn't do it. According to the the idler arm, pitman arm, ball joints, and stabilizer shock need to be replaced. Including the alignment they want $971 bucks. I laughed inside as the guy was explaining to me what everything did, and played along. Obviously not going to have them do shit to it, but it was nice to get a free inspection so I can replace everything myself. Just iffy on doing the ball joints, because either route I got with the front suspension (SAS or LT) I don't need them anymore. Oh and they said I should re pack the hub bearings. Thanks Big O, but no thanks.

I'm still set on taking it back. There's much work to be done, and it's better to just have it there. As I get parts I can install them. I just priced everything out on autoparts warehouse (MOOG everything) for $325 bucks, and that is the equivalent of the labor on just the idler arm install. The "death trap" will give me something to do on the weekends on post.

I was by myself so I had to get out, set up the camera, film, stop, get out, pack up the camera and continue every time I needed to film something.

What's with the flashing LED on the front of your truck? Is it just a warning light to help avoid accidents or is there another use for it?

They are 6 little 3 watt take down lights that attract attention through the dirt. They attract more attention than a steady burn light and alerts people I am coming.
