Deandre "Nuke" Hopkins was in a wreck on his way to meet up with the Clemson team for the trip to Miami...he did not travel with the team...still up in the air if he will play (only suffered a concussion)

2nd leading receiver behind Sammy Watkins...

I have no idea. I'd think that's an injury that would heal with 44 days off b/w games, but I don't know. We're stacked at RB, though.

    You know me too well.

The 2012 SEC Schedules are out... UGA has another cake walk to the SEC Championship game. Alabama was removed from their schedule, so they don't play Bama, La State or Arky next year, again. Well... Until the SECC, where they'll get stomped.

Bama plays at both of the new SEC members: at Mizzou and aTm at home. We only play two SEC East teams (Mizzou and Tennessee), and our one 'big' away game is La State, which we already knew.

How do some of you other SEC folks feel about the schedules?

Don't forget about the game in Dallas against Michigan. I heard on the radio that they are supposed to have the best team they have had in a decade. It is somewhat scary to think about.

Yeah, I was just looking at the conference schedule.

The opening game should be a lot of fun. I'm glad we don't have to travel to Texas twice in 2012. I don't know who is leaving and who is returning for Alabama, and I know very little about Michigan, so I have no idea what to think of that game yet. We have another pretty big game between now and then anyway.

The flat primer black is badass. Up close and personal they are even cooler. These black helmets are polished like a fuckin Ferrari....like piano gloss black. INSANE! Can't wait to see how they look live.

New UGA schedule is out for 2012. Not sure how to feel about it. As expected we dropped Bama for Missouri. I do like moving SC down in the schedule. Anyway, another soft schedule for us.

    2012 GEORGIA FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

    Sept. 1 Buffalo
    Sept. 8 at Missouri
    Sept. 15 Florida Atlantic
    Sept. 22 Vanderbilt
    Sept. 29 Tennessee
    Oct. 6 at S. Carolina
    Oct. 13 OPEN
    Oct. 20 at Kentucky
Oct. 27 vs. Florida in Jacksonville
    Nov. 3 Ole Miss
    Nov. 10 at Auburn
    Nov. 17 Georgia Southern
    Nov. 24 Georgia Tech

Georgia has to be the pick to win the East again.

Waste of an open week before Kentucky. Ours has been before La State the last few years, but in 2012 it's before our trip to Mizzou. La State is open before they play us, while we play MSU the weekend before that game.

Yeah, IDK why they didn't put the open week before one of the toughest games, SC, AU or UF imo. I don't think UF will be that good still but always a tough game for us. On the other hand it is right in the middle of the season.

That should bring a flag just for coming on the field, particularly if outdoors on a sunny day.

We were just talking about that. When the sun goes down the stadium lights on these helmets might create havoc

Easy schedule for my Dawgs. If we don't win the East, something's wrong. We ALWAYS have a bye week before Florida. Don't like that it's before Kentucky. No one needs a bye before Kentucky.

I would guess these schedules were pretty hard to get put into place on a fairly short notice, (with the two "new" schools) aboard. Some things are gonna be different now, with traditional off weeks and the such.

Games that could trip y'all up. Vandy has a good coach and is better than expected. They are the sleeper in the East IMO. South Carolina is an obvious choice to be difficult. Florida I expect to be better than y'all expect too.

UF always has talent, but with the OC leaving and after a bad year for them I don't see a bright year coming. I mean last year I said they wouldn't be very good with a first year HC but everyone said yeah but they have Weis and expected more because of him. So how can they improve w/o him? Have they name an OC yet?
