I usually end up at Browns Camp either the day before New Years or the 1st of the year.

Ok, to start get a dual voice coil. More ways to wire it depending on OHM raiting. (Wether in series or parrallel for future sub additions.)

As for Ohms, It depends on how many subs you want, how many voice coils they have, and the amp, because you cant bring two 2OHM DVC subs to 1 ohm, you can with two 4ohm DVC subs.. 4 ohm has more options on running them with multiple sub applications, you have a better chance of getting 1ohm out of the load... its all a matter of if your gonna use a mono block @ 1 ohm stable, and 2 or more subs with single or dual voice coils then 2 ohm is the route. Which is what I run. I reccomend going with a 2ohm sub.

RMS is the least amount of power a sub puts out, ir average amount depending on who you ask. Focus on a sub with decent RMS power and find an amp to match with close tonthe same RMS. If you went with a kicker amp, their labeled as true power amps. So a zx750.1 puts on 750 rms with a peak varying between 1000-1500. So really don't pay to much attention to the peak power.

Since your on a budget, you could piece together a few things. I'm on my phone, but at about 830 ill be near a computer and could give ya some amp/sub combos around 300-350. Is that price cap including all wiring also?

I'd have to check on the ohms I can't remember off the top of my head. And I'm looking to run a single sub in the new truck. Haven't decided what yet. I jut wanna keep my back seat mostly open for my dog

I don't plan on putting 2 subs into this truck. That is where I am geting confused on ohm's and voice coils.

I will put up few examples of what I have been looking at and see what you think.

The 300-350 hopefully will get me a box, sub and amp. The headunit will be its own budget. I have RCA's from my last sub which I sold, and I also have a 4g power wire with inline fuse already. Hoping to salvage those.

I want to fit it under the passenger seat, or i might see if it can fit under the rear storage under the rear seats. It's gonna depend on the size

I prefer the diver seat. That way you don't have asshat's kickin it with their feet. No one sits on the left side.

Yeah I have a third passenger every so often. I stuffed my sub just up behind it against the back. Leaves me enough room to hang a couple jackets and extra boots etc behind the driver seat while still leaving the area on the left completely clear for the third wheel.
