I talked to the guy he said two people are coming out tomorrow and friday to test drive it and make an offer. Hmmm. I wonder if he's just saying that to sale it faster? I'm kinda concerned since he said that he's moving to Central America. Usually when people say they're moving out the country thats usually a scam right? He has service records and the timing belts been changed. He's asking 6900. Bluebook has these going for 5500. Should I offer 6k? These sport editions are kinda rare around here.

These Sport Editions are so rare here. Im gonna offer him 5k and see what he says. However, the mileage does concern me. 166k does seem high.

Go with $5500 cash in hand. $5000 in one pocket and $500 in the other. If you like it, pull the $5000 and tell him you'd like the truck but that's all you have. If he won't budge, see how close you can get. You can make a fake cell call to a buddy to "borrow" another $500. Leave for 15 minutes and come back.

Chances are he'll take the $5k though. It is true, "cash talks"

I have bought and sold 40 plus new and used vehicles over the past 18 years. It works.

But would you trade a 2011 Camry with 29k on it for the 4Runner with 137k on it?

Nope, not a chance. That 4runner is pretty plain for the year. I'd pay 8 tops for it. Plus a 11' Camry should go for 11 at least.
