your front pass tire needs air. NICE find on the drop kit, never heard of this spot though (but none the less thankfully they are making drop kits for the gen 2's).

here is where it might get complicated/confusing. due to the front suspension of the 5 lug tacomas, camber is a HIGH issue. The upper control arms are located on the sides, along with being positioned as close to the bottom of the frame as possible. so if you do install this kit, keep in mind that your front will get negative camber, and you will definitely want to fix that before taking it out for a test drive. As for the rear, you will be ditching your OE bump stops for sure (you can get low pro bumps from either Street Tacos - he is a member of this site, or you can hit up your local Pep Boys/O'Riley's for their bump stops), and will want to get some better shocks (the OE ones on the base models are fine but when using them on a dropped 5 lug ... imo don't, you will feel the back "donking" meaning that the axle will be knocking on the frame from time to time depending on your driving and/or dips/bumps). I forgot the part number but get the XR Billstein shocks or if you have the cash QA1's for better ride quality. I am currently dropped @ 1" front, and 2.5/2.7 in the rear with low pro bumps but even at that I get the "donk" on occasion. hope this helps.

so to refrain my previous post, that 1.7" drop won't be 1.7". That kit it mainly intended for XRunners which have the 4.0L engine (ergo the 1.7" drop due to the weight of engine). So in reality, you will only be getting 1.25" due to the base models engine which is a 2.7L.

its a djm 3/4. its photoshopped so the front is a little lower than its supposed to be, and these are around 20" vossen cv3's.. Oh one day it will be just like this lol

that looks exactly like my xrunner, except for the drop and wheels and spoiler. My tail lights are tinted dark and my windows are blacked out, and I has a pin stripe.

 

wow! thats dam sexy! that thing just looks sick! you need to make yours look just like that. i would think you need more than a 3/4 to get that low though...i dont know how low the xs are to begin with though.

definitely, also the wheel wells would get in the way. with 22's, you will need to either delete the wheel wells or put in tubs or you will be rubbing ugly and waste your tires.

 

how much drop u think would make the wheels look more at home? the seem so out of place cause of the body

 

agree with you 100%. it's mainly the front though, how the fender and bumper kind of finish. idk looks weird to me even when they are fully dropped (laying frame).

as of now you options for a drop are by using that one kit (you will get only 2" rear, and 1.25" up front - which you can get cheaper if that's all u want to do), the DJM kits (the 3 to 3, 3 to 4) but there will be cutting involved.

what tire size are you running? F16Taco has the Twelve Performance springs (used to be called Sittin Sic), 1"/1.25 or so spacer kit, and I think 2" in the back on 17's but not sure of the tire size. See if that it to your liking, imo.

oh yes it is, he done a photoshop with some kmc slides on it for me once. so i saved it because thats how low i want to be lol. I dont think his is quite that low in the front though.

Yeah he shopped a few things for me and lenie, ive met steve and seen his truck a few times when lenie and i went to a couple of So-Cal meets a few years ago its low but not like the pic..

Unfortunately a deatail shop put some wheel cleaner on them...ate and damaged the clear coat...:-(

Their insurance company paid 4K for the custom WORK wheels, I also get to keep the Racing Hart's

 

sweet, they should look awesome on there too, its the supra truck, so its gonna be awesome reguardless.
