oh yeah, i usually keep a gallon of water handy for that, but i usually have to quickly turn on the wipers before it freezes back over.

Either way its colder than a witches titty out there on these clear mornings. The clouds seem to bring in warmth with the moisture.

That's nothing. I had to hook it up to the water heater last year to thaw the ice. It still took over half an hour before I could get any water through it and that was with me bending it to break the ice inside every couple of inches! Then wash the truck when it's in the 20's outside and even the soap sort of freezes. The worst part though? My driveway's sloped. Guess what happened to the water/soap when it hits the driveway in 20 degree temps? Slick!

Soon as my job picks up and it's not slow..I'm selling the 89

I actually purchased the FJ80 axles to put underneith it..but started researching parts and realized only 1 company makes high steer for it and I gotta buy there knuckles..the Hellfire knuckles and arms are $850 alone..then I'd have to buy 4 TRE's($25 each)..then the DOM or chromoly to make the links..
and that's just the start..gears for 9.25 pinions are $225..

So I ended up selling them and actually making $300 cash profit on them..cuz I picked em up at Pick N Pull..so it was like $440 out the door..but I sold em for $800 to someone on Pirate..

I'm actually going to pick up a 1st Gen Toyota pickup and build a crawler..i've met a friend recently on Marlin Crawler who lives really close to me..and we became really good friends..and he has a 1st gen and I just fell in love with it..it's so fun to wheel, so fun to drive, and easy to work on.

So yeah hopefully within next month I'll have a 79-83 Yota in my hands..

What do you mean "what happened?"
Are you referring to yet another one of their kits LCA mount ripping apart?
