    I was thinking in trying Amsoil Synthetic oil. I check the site and they offer like 3 styles of oil in 5w 30 my question is what do you guys used? What would you recommend for my 2003 Tacoma V6? tHanks in advance guys

    do you used 6 qtrs or 5 qtrs? What oil filter do you use?

    They're all great choices. I'm happy with their Signature Series in my vehicles, including my 2004 V6 Tacoma. (Admittedly, however, I don't pay retail for it because I have a friend who's a dealer and gets it for me at wholesale...) I think the biggest difference between the (OE, XL, and Signature series) oils are the recommended drain intervals.

    As I recall, it takes about 5.5 qts. I run OEM Toyota filters (#

    I change the filter every 5K miles (topping-off the oil), and do a complete oil & filter change every 10K miles.

    All amsoil is good use 0-30 signature and change @25,000 miles or yearly.

    save yourself some money and sign up for a year as a dealer (maybe its a preferred member or something, they changed it). costs about $10, then buy a case of oil, some filters and all the fluids for your cases, enough to last you a couple of years. overall brings the price down a lot. let the membership lapse, you can do it again in a few years.
