    Yea I've heard good things. I have the cable to connect it to the computer. Just never got around to doing it. I would like to get a hand held as well.

    you can't loose with this 2/440 dual band radio, i bought it for my g/f and now i use it more than my FT60R. tons of rave reviews for this little hand held!! and for around 100 on ebay or 119.00 at HRO. the MARS/CAP mod is done via software programming so no taking it apart to do that mod. software programming is free, you just need to buy the programming cable for 16.99.
