I have a 2002 toyota tacoma 5-speed 2.4l with the 2RZ-FE engine. it only has 3500 towing. from what ive seen that if it had towing package it could pull 7500. If that the case where can i get a towing package so i can install it or what can i do to increase towing with out going to crazy?

You cant really improve PL. You would have to essentially replace everything, engine power, drivetrain, suspension, frame, brakes. Everything.

7500 pounds is waayy too much for the 4 cylinder. This out of the v6 territory too.

Best to find a different rig for that job.

Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
7500 is way out for that truck. Our company trucks pull 3000-3500lb all day, everyday from dealership til we wear them out and sell them. This is about the "safest" limit. Try stopping a 1st gen reg cab on a wet road with 3500 lbs behind it..... it doesn't. You go through what ever is in front of you.

Exactly. There's a reason why I don't tow my Tacoma with a Tacoma.

Close! I managed to break the suspension hangers and it was on jackstands for about a month as I found time to cut, grind, and weld in the evenings after work. :)

but 7500? where did you get those numbers from? the 2nd gen v6 with tow package is only 6500. do yourself and other motorists a favor and dont exceed 3500 lbs towing. remember your first gen is still a mini truck.
