Did you get a good deal on the truck? How much of a price difference between it & a Toyota A/C?

A ground clearance reality check Plz.....On that Frontier measure mid wheelbase up to the bottom of the frame rail. What u got? I'm over 16.5 with a mild lift. My dad z-71 is 10" and you look about the same. The minimum ground clearance stat you refer to is meaningless really, it's just to the bottom of the rear diff. To me, the most important measure is where the frame drags itself in the mud and you need to start diggin. For grins also check, the front skid plate/xmember - mines @11.5 inches and then the transfer case - mines @13.5 in.

This truck is costing me about $70 more a month than my 06 tacoma, if I wanted a tacoma I would have just kept mine, I just didn't wanna have to tear my front diff apart like most of you prob will down the road since toyota won't fix it themselves

Like it or not its the truth I liked my tacoma just fine but I had faint front end vibes and wasn't gonna buy another one only to deal with the same BS

should've bought a used one. my best friend loved the tacomas and wanted a truck. couldn't find a used Tacoma in his price range. he got the newer model frontier for cheap compared to the Tacoma.

he likes it but his timing chain is giving him problems and it's a 07 with 54k on it. I like the truck but there are things I dislike so much about it. I love my Tacoma compared to the frontier.

They're the two best midsize trucks out there by far but the Tacoma reigns.

enjoy your storage but that's all you got to brag about. try selling that in 2 years. the value takes a noise dive like no other.

Re read my post I said I hated that the frontier had no storage ace, its a tacoma forum and I was suprised I got as much positive feedback as I did, the timing chain issue has since been fixed from what I've heard

Nice truck. There were a number of things they did better than the tacoma, the bed rails and the price. I also think the wheels are pretty slick. Congrats on the nice truck. Ignore the idiots that are trying to bash it.

Good buddy of mine has an 08 nismo off road, I like that truck a lot. The only thing I don't like about them is the steering wheel / dash lay out. Regardless congrats, long as your happy that's what matters.

I have 116k miles on my truck and not a single front vibe ever. I laugh in your face for trading it off because you read some complaints about a vibration. Good luck with the new set of problems. A nission frontier isn't perfect, no vehicle is and no vehicle ever will be.

If it hadn't of been for my accident and my Tacoma saving my life I probably would've gotten a Frontier or Xterra. I've driven the current Pathfinder's and I really liked the way they road and the drive-train is very nice. It seemed decent on gas for a 4x4 SUV and being a rental. IMO you cant go wrong with either Toyota or Nissan. I like the transmissions in the Frontier better though
