It's ok. I read Jason's post and thought it was his, but then I went back to the main page and came across the thread, haha.

Hey i know theres only a few if any DCLB's on here with LT but what do you guys do about the driveshafts? do you add another slip yolk? ive gotten some info but im still a bit confused because theres already a slip yolk for the transmission and as far as i understand you cant add another without making something else a solid mount..and i know it varies between the cab and bed lengths. any advice would help! thanks

Sure, I'll snap one today. The misalignment spacer and the bolt were one piece, IIRC. It involved a bit of cutting and prying to just have the heim ready to accept a straight bolt.

dmz and reel driveline were adding a slip in the rear section and made modifications to the carrier bearing assembly with the 2wd trucks . i saw multiple problems with just one particular truck where it would pull the bearing out of the carrier bearing housing and pull the slipjoint out of the transmission. i was also informed about occurrences with a few others as well. dont know if they worked it out properly yet.

since there is no fixed output shaft kits for the 2wd trans, you have to use a solid carrier bearing to prevent the above. so the oem slipjoint never wants to pull out of the trans and all the slip is in the added slipjoint at the rear of the shaft. the solid carrier bearing assembly is key to making the driveline modifications work correctly
