Do you have neighbors park in front of your house? My neighbors keep doing this. Sometimes their own vehicles and sometimes visitors. I've had them leave a vehicle there for like a whole week one time. This sh*t pisses me off, first off they have plenty long enough driveway to fit the cars. 2nd why can't they park in front of their own freakin house? I know it's not that big of a deal but when they keep doing this when they never park in front of their own house just pisses me off. And it's not just the next door neighbor, it's like my house is a magnet for it. The house across the street, and sometimes the house on the other side. Funny thing is that it's new neighbors that are the main ones doing it. Well the people before them did the same thing. I mean WTF? To make it even worse, there is an empty lot on the corner that the people across the street there use as their own personal parking lot. So why cant the ones next to me do this? It's right next to them on the other side.

When I go to someones house and can't get into the driveway I park in front of their house, not across the street, not in front of the neighbors unless it is just not possible.

    End rant.

Sounds like someone tied one on last night! Ask the neighbors if the truck needs a tow. They'll get it moved.

But for the OP, I can see for a party, funeral, etc. Overflow happens once in a while. But all the time - nah - not right. People seem to be clueless or don't care. They just need a reminder.

The street doesnt belong to you. Anyone can park in front of your house whenever they want. If you have a problem with people parking on a public street, buy a home on a private road in the middle of nowhere.

that shit pisses me off to no end. Neighbor had a party one night, cars all over the fucking place. One asshole in a honduh accord decide to park about 1/2 way across the driveway..I ran up over the neighbors grass to get out of my driveway, leaving nice ruts. Oddly enough we had an overly large/heavy garbage can that week, so it went about 3" from his drivers door. Dunno how he got in, but the car was gone the same night.

Sounds like you are getting wound up for the sake of it. If they are on your property- Then talk to them and/or call the cops. Otherwise- It's a public road- Let it go and worry about important things.

I don't want to be the bad neighbor and start trouble, just wanted to rant. Probably not worth the trouble.

I knew someone would say this, thing is why can't they be polite and park in front their own house? If there is no room I understand, but they do this for no reason imo. And when I cut the grass they will probably get mad at me if their sh*t gets scratched. Plus depending on the parking job sometimes its hard to get in/out of the driveway.

This makes me think about my parents house. Parking is rough on their street. Anyway when the old next door neighbors daughter still lived at home she parked infront of my parents house. Which was no big deal, because no one needed to park there. My parents have a 2 car garage in the back off the alley way. Anyway if me or my sister came over while the daughter was not home and parked infront of the house, she would pull up and flip out because we where in "her" space. It was very funny to watch her get mad and speed off.

If they block your access or park illegally, that is a different story. Its a public street so the spot in front of your house belongs to you the same amount as it belongs to them. Everyone pays taxes that fund public streets so they have the exact same right to park there as you do.

I agree it is perfectly legal and all, but its just a respect thing. Just because you can do it doesn't mean you should.

Move to a neighbor hood like mine, parking only on one side of the street. No parking on my side!:D

Oh and no parking on street at all after 2am.

I just don't understand why my house seems to be the magnet for it? You'd think they would just park in front of there own to be closer not to mention the empty lot on the other side of them. Hell I used it one time because my mother in law didn't want to get blocked in when we had a b-day party for my step-daughter and didn't want her car left in the road, so I moved it to the empty lot for her.
