I know it can be rebuilt, however, I'm a total noob in the air. See a few posts above. I got a new plane and heli, (already have two helis) for Christmas. My buddies fly and crash, and the're (the planes) rebuilt and back in the air in a week or so.

It makes no sense, but I'm a tad anal on appearance. I actually "used" to have a body just for show, and then put on a beater to race with. I've painted bodies for years, and spend a lot of time on them, to just mess them up pisses me off.

I'm having some problems with the brushed motor in my SC10. It started giving me these "fits" where it was sort of acting like the was a short or something. I could give it throttle and it would hesitate for a bit and then take off. Also, it started making a sort chunky, grinding sound. And it eventually got to where it would just barely go with a fully charged battery. So, I cleaned it via the process where you take a AA battery and run the motor in some water to sort of clear it out. a LOT of shit came out of it. After letting it dry I put it back in the truck and it worked pretty much as good as new and started giving me fits again. (Keep in mind, I haven't gotten it dirty again. I can jar it around and stuff and it'll "sort of" work for a little bit and then quit..

Anyone know what the fuck is going on with this thing?

Sounds like your brush leads could be hanging up, not letting a good contact be made with the comutator. Just a guess, snap the brushes and see if that helps. Worn out brushes?

Got bored this morning, made up a stand for my slash. Its not perfect but it works better then a piece of 4x4, gonna paint it and get a countersunk bolt for the top plate, the truck is able to spin around and I also stuck a set screw on it to lock it on one place if needed.

    Me like.

I got bored this morning and drove my kid in his cosy coop behind my wraith and it drove 2.75 miles before it went no further. Lol.
It still has a little kick in it just not enough to tow

Nice! I prefer an empty barral of VP. You can place screws, parts, tools, etc. on top and they won't roll away. There's nothing worse than having a screw roll off your work bench only to never see it again lol. Then, you have to wait a few days for a replacement to come in

Gonna bend some aluminum to make some screw/part holders so I don't lose any.

Iv only ran it twice since last weekend (when I got it). I work from sun up to sun down, makes it hard to run it during the week, it will get some use this weekend tho.

The front and rear of the chassis is notched to allow for clearance for the ring gear.

The scale Hankook tires feel sticky and should provide plenty traction in the dirt and don't seem to wear much after two runs in the street.
