Ready lift? Good or Bad?

Looking at shocks or a ready lift kit is a ready lift very good as far as spacers go/

 

why do you say spacers are bad?

 

Ok thanks for the info...could i add bilstein shocks on the spacers later on if i wanted to?

ok cool, but the leveling kit and the bilstein will fit together. because people have told me that they will not fit together for some reason, and i will do a little bit of off roading on the farm and at other places but nothing to extreme, its more for the looks.

I just installed a ready lift leveler in the front and 1" spacer in the back (last week) so I could get 265/75/R16's under the truck.
Looks okay, not as good as some of the other trucks in here, but I will tell you they are all right, it does ride like shit!!!
Yes it is inexpensive...
maybe the only plus, I do not need to put in UCA's, shocks or a diff drop in with this set-up..........However, I will probably change this out for coilovers, uca's and a diff drop sometime later this year....there is a right way, regardless of your use and an inexpensive way.....the spacer/readylift has minor advantages (costs less), but mostly disadvantages....as I see it/feel it now.

thanks for your input it seems that spacers are disliked from just about everyone...i feel like i may go ahead and spend the extra money and get a whole new suspension lift.

yes, blocks in the back. Works for now, but not for long haul. We will have to wait until towing season to see how she handles the trailer and gear. Then, may need to change it up a bit.

We'll see how well the Timbren system works....but I am still thinking suspension revamp alter this year.
