Projector high beams no work

    so i was driving to work this morning dimmed my hight beams for a passing car flick them back on and theres a really bright flash like a camera went off in front of me. so thats weird keep driving dim my lights for a another car flick the high beams back on and blackness turn my low beams back on they work fine try the highs again nothing. They're bixenon bulbs so did i just surge my high beam filament and fry them???

    anyone know where to get replacement bulbs?:confused::confused:

    I'm confused, there aren't dual electrodes on bixenons. All the high beam function does it take the low beam light and angle it higher. Or is that only for the h4s and doesn't apply to h1 projectors?

    i have no idea how they actually work i just thought it was weird when i had low beams but no highs but now apparently i got nothing made for a real fun 110km drive home in a blizzard with just fog lights...
