I got a white Tacoma with a six inch lift on 35's. Needless to say its hard to get in without nerfbars or running boards but i dont like the look of them from what ive seen. Just wanted to see some pics of trucks with different kinds of running boards or nerd bars. I'd also like them to match my pretty
    Much all white theme.

I have westin nerf bars on my truck. They only come in black or chrome. I had mine repainted to match the truck.
The guys on this site typically don't like nerf bars. Most will suggest sliders. I would say after the westin bars look at N-fab. They make bars with built-in steps, which sounds like what you need.

My problem with them is in most cases they make a lifted truck look lower with the trucks Ive seen, but if I could find a truck I like them on Id like those. Ive been looking around I just wanted see some more pics of perferably white lifted tacos with different colored and types of steps.

And I was just about to buy the amp research ones untill I found out that they dont fully retract and they aren't costum to the double cabs.

I had a set of stainless Steel nerf bars made by Wildcat Flash. They looked just like the Westin ones but were much cheaper. The install was fairly simple and they held up well...Actually now that I think about it I used Westin's install instuctions... But as was mentioned above, I would say go for sliders instead. They offer much better protection and can still work as steps. I like to think that someone who spends the money to lift a truck does so for more than just looks. So you might need a little extra protection at some point.

I tried posting pics of my white truck here for ya, but I can't on my phone. Check out my gallery though-- I had black smitty built nerf bars. I took them off because they made the truck even more awkard to get into and I didn't like the look of the black.

I agree with what others have said...check out Avid!

Sliders don't just protect against rocks... they also help protect against trees or the ground in a high center. And they provide a solid place to use a High-Lift. But also, other vehicles. I cant find the post but I remember someones vehicle being fairly well protected by sliders in an accident. But hey, go with what you like.

Im about to order the all pro sliders with the kickout and bed line them white. They might not get used to much but I guess theyll pay for them selfes the one time they do. They also keep my kicks clean when Im in the mud so I can shuffle to my bed:cool:.

I have a set of bolt ons made by Rocky-Road. They came powder coated black. Though mine started to rust in a few places after about 4 months... Other than that I like them a lot, but the mounting is a bit strange. Im not to sure of any other bolt ons. But I would think a search for sliders would net some results. I was considering Shrockworks for a while as well. They look similar but mount differently. Then again another option is just powder coat the sliders before you weld em on...
