What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Relocated horns and removed hood latch guard in anticipation of Hella 500 install tomorrow. Also put yellow lamkin fog light covers and yellow driving light covers on Hella 500's.

Got bluetooth ODB2 reader, paired it with android phone using Torque app.

 

Stripped off the chrome, and replaced with the dark's

 

Washed mine, now it is clean for tomorrow so I can install my back up sensors.

 

Love the look of the tailgate!

 

A lot over last several days:
1) First 5K oil change yesterday - Mobil 1 full synthetic
2) Katzkin two tone heated leather:


3) Inalfa 925 power roof


4) Tacoma OEM black tube steps

 

Cleaned throttle body and MAF sensor, r2d windshield wipers and installed one extra bed d ring.

 

Cleaned,sanded,painted,and clear coated skid plates. changed front diff fluid.

Painted my sliders

 

Would have put 4 in, but couldn't get the bolts out.... I need a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter, so I can use a breaker bar and maybe the longer bar will help. If not, I'll get my son to help.

 

Haven't done it yet, but considering adding some more lights.

 

Try to get some PB blaster on the screw threads, it will help. Also a mix of 1/2 ATF and 1/2 brake fluid does a decent job of cutting through the rust.

 

don't think it's rust... think it's weaklingitis I'll try that, though.

 

I put two D-Rings in my 09 which is in the garage and I had a lot of ruct. One side came off with effort, the other side needed PB Blaster and soaking for a night.

Installed my Supertop. Didn't go as smoothly as I had planned. Cold weather makes for Tight canvas.

 

Washed and cleaned. Nice sunset reflections.

 

Forget the breaker bar. Get the adapter and put it on an impact wrench. I gave up trying to use a break bar on mine before I stripped the first one. Impact wrench made it soooo much easier.

 

How do you like it? Also, if I may, how much did you pay for it and where did you get it from?
