bright headlights

anybody else on here get flashed with highbeams from passin oncoming traffice cause the taco factory headlights have bright lowbeams?

 

yeah, a lot of 1st and 2nd gens get that.

people flash there highbeams at me all the dang time. i finally got tired of it and flashed back.

 

no i don’t. i have like maybe 3 times since may of ‘11

 

everytime i drive at night. without fail

 

I get high beamed all the time. They get the ol' 9" lightforces right back though lol.

I get flashed all the time with my stock GE halogens in my 97...lol...I flash em back and flip on my fog lights.

 

Never get flashed, unless the bed is loaded with something. Re-aimed my lights after the HID install.

Yeah, especially since I put the PIAA super whites in. That 2nd gens Headlights sit high on the body to start with, and 7 inch dia. to boot! Then if you add a levelling kit or bro' lean, it gets worse. I have 510's in the bumper and some big ass 10" spots, most think twice before flashing me! It comes down to having the ability to see, and where I drive that's critical. Big f-ing Moose in northern BC! Don't flash back tho'. Just keep my eyes to the right. The tires usually make up in flying debris anyway!

I need to re aim mine. They seem bright when looking at the truck but they dont light enough of the ground in front of me. I don't get flashed though

 

My lenses are so yellow and hazed, they're flashing me because they probably think my headlights are off

 

lol funny story about bright lights...i have 2 very bright LED off road lights in my grille. and the other night i was with a couple friends because i was picking up a large desk with them, and i pulled up right behind these 2 retarded looking young girls in an accord. i wanted to see what would happen if i flipped on the off road lights, so i did. well i lit up the back of their car and right after i flipped them on they both turned around and gave me the finger and the driver moved the rear view...whoops. we sure were cracking up though at how these girls were reacting

but what i dont get is i have been driving around at night for about the last week with them on to see if they really are too bright for the road and not a single person has flashed their lights at me comming the other way. so i guess they are just very bright looking right straight on but the more to the side and further away you get the less bright they look. i also angled the lights down more but i doubt itll do much good.

I've never been high-beamed, even after 3" and HIDs.

never been highbeamed in the 2010 either..

mainland people are weird.
