I switched to Apple about 3 months ago for of course all the advantages. But the only thing I seem to not like about my Macbook Pro is the organization of photos and such. I use iPhoto now and really don't like it. I like simple and organized. iPhoto sorts my photos by events, faces, places...therefore I'm ending up having photos everywhere. It was very troublesome when I was switching photos from my PC to Mac. It was very easy on my PC to have folders of whatever photos I wanted in it.

So, just trying to see what you guys use to organization your photos on your Macs?

I see there are some photo apps but haven't researched into those yet...but will. All my photos are backed up of course too. Thanks guys!

Thats what I'm planning on doing now, using just folders. I use CS5 for all my editing too. Plain and simple. I do like the view on iPhoto tho.

^^ This. I don't like iphoto at all. I just use a basic folder system within the "Photos" folder and then do any editing with Photoshop.
