Noveske upper receiver (free floating) by far the most accurate, LWRC also an amazing weapon system, POF, HK416, Berrett Rec 7 these are all the best. Colt, Bushmaster, dmps, rock river arms these weapons are all right for what you pay but not the best.... Noveske and LWRC lead the way!!! [IMG]

Alright I gotta another question... I know that bolt guns are easier on the casing when ejecting the round in comparison to an AR 10 (good for reloading purposes)... But an AR 10 has an adjustable gas block... When running it in "bolt mode" or what ever it's called when having to manually charge the handle after every shot... My question is Can you tweek the gas block a little to be less harsh... Or is it the same when puling that bolt back???I hope this made sense ???

It may be sitting here thinking about it. If it is harsher on brass due to the method of extraction then no, it won't be, but if its due to the speed of the extraction then yes it would be. I never heard anything about ARs being hard on brass. Now my Galil with almost fold a case in half.

Sorry if you already know this, but I'll point it out anyway...

If your AR has an "infinitely" adjustable gas block, then you could theoretically cut off the gas until you're getting extraction/ejection but not overgassing. It's kind of a moot point though - if you're reloading for an AR-10 you're probably going to want to full-length size your brass with a small base sizer die each time. A small-base die slightly undersizes brass for reliability in a semi-auto. This will also get rid of dings or creases from ejection. With a bolt gun, you can get away with neck sizing only if you're shooting the entire batch of brass through the same gun.

Lots of times adjustable gas systems are for suppressor use - turn down the gas when the suppressor's on due to the increased backpressure a suppressor causes. Sometimes it's to tune your gun to the ammo you're using, such as with the block on a Saiga shotgun.

I actually just read about that lol... Thanks for the input... But what I didn't know was The gas block was more used more for suppressed stuff... Seeing as I will never see a suppressor unless I move out of this crapstate that will probably not be big deal for me... Lol... I have been researching bolt Guns and AR 10 and reloading for the past 5 days... And I have come to a conclusion.. That I have no idea what I want yet haha...

Wow your the second person I have come across that has a Galil... Well I see a lot of threads stating that .308 AR is harder for reloading because it's harder on the brass... This is just from what I have read... I'm no gunsmith so correct me if I am wrong... But isn't the speed of the extraction still have something to do with the "method of extraction"... I'm pretty sure my biochem class was not this hard haha... : //

You are right speed of extraction does have to do with method. I was talking more about the objects that do the extracting. Not necessarily the method. Like the extractor arms and plungers and what not. I have been off my game for the past three days so forgive me. Sleep deprivation sucks.

I used to play a lot of paintball before it was popular and people used to charge ten bucks per tube in places. Tipmann ProAm was the king. And most people used PMI Tracers. I had an Autococker completely done up by Boston Express, that thing was sick. I played a lot of renegade paintball in places where we shouldn't have been playing. Just find some woods and go.

That's what we play too. Full camo, gear, scuba tanks.. and go to an area either in the woods, or desert brush and play.

Our favorite spot was an old shut down industrial park that was on about 100 acres of woods and had three empty factories. We used to have to chase the satan worshipers away before we played. Pretty convincing with paintball guns and plenty fun.

    Looks like a Bushmaster lower.
The upper looks like 14.5 + hider + M203 cuts, carbine gas, cut down A2 gas block, M4 handguard, M4 stock, A2 grip.
Might be all Bushy or from parts.

Not sure on the optic....don't think it's an ACOG.

I think its 100% Bushy. The brake is a Bushmaster Izzy brake and I think that was one of the rifles Bushmaster was selling back in the early 2000s. The Izzy was the Bushmaster answer for having a 14.5" Barrel.
