    I need to find out what size, especially thickness are the centering pin bolts for leaf springs. Length doesnt matter, because that can get cut off.

    Pleas HALP fast!

    I picked up 10mm 10.9 grade bolts and nuts with allen head at ACE hardware. I got the longest size they had. The bolts fit perfect into the hole in the axle nice and snug! I had to cut about half of an inch up top so the bump stop fits nice and snug!

    Thanks again for the help, made my AAL install nice and easy!

    Good to hear! A Grade 10.9 is WAY over kill for the center pin. A Grade 5 is more than enough, as once the U'bolts are tight, the center pin only keeps the leafs centered. Clamping force is achieved by the U bolts. BUT, No harm done using a higher grade.

    The difference between Grade 5 and Grade 10.9 was about $3 so I went for higher grade... The total for both bolts and nuts was $6.40...
