    I had a shelf collapse in the garage and land right on my stack of completed mesh. :mad::mad::mad::mad:

    I was able to fab up replacements but now I have to paint them all :annoyed:
    Bear with me folks... between this, whacking my head on a shelf, and taking a dive on a wet floor in the mall yesterday I think I'm safe now... :pray:

    Bad things happen in threes right? :eek:

    Lotta you guys have put different grill emblems on after you had your grills installed. I finally found the one I want for mine and bought it. It needs repainted but I have to figure out how to get the plastichrome off. I'm wonderin if a mediablaster would hurt the plastic emblem if it was held 3 or so feet away?

    I saw ben do that one night at freds garage n he melted the piece he was workin on. Wonder if a small wire brush would work? Like a brass? Its tight in some spots though

    If your painting over chromed plastic all you really need to do is rough it up a bit with sandpaper or steel wool. Just be sure to hit it with adhesion promoter prior to painting it & you'll be fine.;)

    Its peelin n flakin off and is rough. Id like it to be smooth before I start paintin it cause I'm usin model paint n dunno if it'll cover the rough spots. Ill call my bodyman tomorrow. See what he says.
