Just picked up a new water pump today and it looks like there's a pulley with shot bearings I also need to replace...out of 4 weeks of break I don't think this is going to be running for 3 of them.

Anyone know of any good stereo shops in the Portland area. I am close to car toys and will go check them out, but I would like to find others too

i'm sure it could happen but it looks a lot more common on the 2nd gens than the 1st. he was mobbin up a hill with some woops and his rear end bounced and reved up, when it smashed back into the sand it made a huge pop and that was the result. he drove it back to the main lot and then we took my truck and grabbed a car trailor from a friends and towed his truck back to our parents shop. should have it all fixed this week for about 400$. looks like were going to throw 4.11's in and swap the front also

I got a buddy who does installs for car toys in Clackamas. He does AMAZING work. Ask for Stephan to do it, and know it will get done right.

    What are you installing?

You know you have to either get an ARB or change carriers to fit anything lower than 3.73 in the front right? If you go with 4.56 you can get thick gears for the 3.73 carrier. The 05+ factory rear ends are garbage (setup in mexico), but if you install a solid spacer and yukon gears they will withstand amazing amounts of abuse. ECGS is a great place to order gears from, 5 year warranty, free shipping, and great customer service. $595 for an elocker third, they ship it assembled to your door then you get a call tag for the ups man to pick up the old one. Shoot I can't do it myself for much cheaper than that. http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-131078-tacoma-e-locker-3rd.html

Transfer case guts. Any chance this is something you can buy at a store, or did someone make it just for you?

These have to be the flakiest kind of shops on the planet.
You may be able to find some good techs that can open and close interior panels with no trace.
    Easier to find dipwads, though.

Stereo King is one and Sounds on Wheels is another one.

22RE timing gears and chain. Nope but it looks easy enough to make. Some artist in So Cal makes them!
