Speakers for my 03

I have a 03 Double cab... and I am looking to upgrade the speakers... just want to go with the stock size... any idea what size they are?

 

They should be 6x8s front and back

 

I have been told that they dont fit

 

mine is a 98 and mine are 6 1/2
urs should be the same considering its still a first gen

u could allways just "pop" the interor of the door off and see for ur self

 

I have a 04 DC and just changed out the stock speakers. They are 5x7. I went with boss audio D57.2, do not get them!! the sound like crap, the stock speakers sound better. I have an kenwood deck, that might be the season they sound bad (not enough power). If you don't want to run an amp my suggestion would be to stay with stocks. Its up to you though.

 

Stock ones are blown... was just going to get some 50 watts at walmart...

 

how the hell did u blow them???
i found doing that was impossible with mine
blasting the my 50 watt pioneer stereo apperently wont do it

 

Couldnt tell ya.... the speakers made a blown sound when I bought the truck... so when I was at the dealership buying the truck I made them take off $300 bc of the stereo....
