    yeah idk what it is haha...ive heard of it but never really researched what it is.

    Ding ding. You are correct. I do it by using a HOYA RM72 filter and setting a custom white balance in the camera then swap the channels in PS to make the color ones.

    You can do IR with the 72 but it's a bitch to focus and your exposures can be way longer than you'd like.

    I'm using a modified Digital Rebel but I hope to get something else mod'ed. Like a point and shoot--it's a PITA to carry the Rebel in addition to my other gear for the few IR shots I've taken.

    Those are killer! Yeah the filter is a pia to focus and they still look blurry to me, but it could be the 20+ second exposures. LOL
