I would prefer a lift if you're gonna be running 33's.

I run 255/75R17 on my truck with a 3 inch lift and have no rubbing/trimming, and thats a 32" tire. I heard you can run my size with no lift, but a 33 you'd be cutting and trimming a good bit.

I personally think 265/70/17 will look too small with a 2.5" lift. 265/70/17 mud terrains will look good on stock height, but if you're going with a 2.5" lift then 33's will be your best option.

Just a bunch of old crap
Without a lift you will probably not make it out of the parking lot. 12.5 is pretty wide and you'll hit fenders as soon as you turn the wheel. I am lifted and run 9.5" width rims with 33" mud terrains and I had to trim a couple inches off the fenders.

you'll need wheel spacers if you are running the stock rims.

Those will work, but you'll still need to trim some plastic and possibly chop your cab mounts.

Cab mount should be fine, but flaps have to go.

Some have to chop their cab mounts, some don't. It has to do with how aggressive the sidewall of the tire is.
