This reminds me. Some of my buddies are currently renting this old house. Well, the piping isn't all that great. The shower and sink water shares the same drainage pipe. I happen to be over this one day and used their restroom. I got out and ask one of my buddy if he notice any strange odor coming from the restroom? He told me he sense the odor but have no idea where it was coming from. I checked the sink pipe and unfortunately there was no u-pipe to prevent the odor from coming up. Later that day, all the guys fessed up that they've been peeing while in the shower. After all, they finally understood why they're whole restroom smells like a urinal. They went to home-depot and bought a u-pipe. Problem solved. Lesson learned.
