    I just got off the phone with a customer service rep and my payment is being refunded. She confirmed they are all out of stock and since it was a clearance item they will not be ordering any more. So I'm guessing if you got the email you are included as well

    I got the same call and asked the lady about 3 times if it was guaranteed to be shipped, and she said yes. They just werent sure when, i got the same 7-30 day estimate you got. But idk if thats very reassuring being their customer service has a pretty bad track record

    i just got the same phone call about the 7-30 days, asking me if i wanted to wait, followed by "but if we cannot fulfill your order by that time, we will refund your money."

    i very much doubt any of us getting this phone call are going to see an inverter.

    For those that got the phone call....check your caller ID and call back the 424 number. It isn't even JCW! It is US auto or something!


    EDIT....Just to clear up any confusion.....please stop PM'ing me if you can have one of the converters I bought!! I already posted earlier that I received the same "backorder" email that everyone else got!! My order did not go through!!

    While on the phone with the rep she told me the same thing, 7-30 days but when i reminded her it was a "clearance" item she put me on hold for about 5 minutes and looked further into it. That is when she told me my payment would be refunded.

    This was my first order of 3. I went back and ordered more but I got the same email as you guys so I called and they said I could get a refund at any time. They said there is a possibility that more could turn up in their warehouse and they would ship them out if they found them.

    Damn did ANYONE actually get a confirmation e-mail like I did? I was hoping to see everyone get a box full of power inverters for dirt cheap :/ sorry fellas

    I ordered on 1-2 and got order confirmation same day then shipping confirmation today. Has been picked up and on second leg via Fedex should be here Friday.

    Only caveat I've seen is that 'some' laptops/chargers don't like the square wave "AC" output. The square wave's shoulders can be rounded somewhat by some passive inductive and capacitive components on the output. Google 'square wave to sine wave filter' for details.
    I'd expect them to work, as is, for the majority of outdoor applications.

    The 1000W capacity is quite a bit more than the OEM 400W inverter.
