updated blower motor part

Hello,

I have a 2011 with 7500 miles on it. yes it has the blower motor squeal. The dealer has ordered an updated part to install. How long does the updated part work before it starts to squeal? Or does it eliminate the squeal permantly?

 

i just had mine done at the dealer last week,haven't had any problems since it was replaced,also did the leaf spring tsb.

 

the factory one in my 2010 took about 21 months to start the noise. had the updated one installed yesterday. I was surprised that they had the part in stock.

 

Did the dealer give you any shit about the leaf spring tsb ?

 

Just got mine done a few weeks ago, no chirp yet.

 

my replacement lasted about a year before it squeled again.

 

I guess there is no permanant cure for this problem then.

 

I have the newest part number and it just began to chirp yesterday. I'm just gonna live with it.

 

After my warranty expires I will live with it too.

 

I had the blower replaced on my 2010 on 10/5/11 and am starting to hear the chirps on low speed. Must be the cold weather we've been having here.

 

Just got the updated part put in. They said it was a tag inside it that hit the fan and made the chirp. They said this new one you will never have a problem with it again. Hope this is true.

 

Good, my fan just started chirping in cold temps at the lower speed settings. I'll have to call the dealer and see about a replacement.
