Bushwacker fender flare owners

    How much extra coverage do these flares give? I've already got factory prerunner flares, but they're not enough for my low offset wheels and lift spindles.

    My wheels/tires stick out a fair amount past the factory flares. I'm not the biggest fan of fiberglass race fenders on daily drivers, just looking for some extra coverage.

    My understanding is that they'll add another 3/4" over the factory flares?

    Keep searching and your find some discussions on this but I haven't seen many recently. From what I can remember in posts where good measurements were taken, the extra coverage is minimal, perhaps 1/2". good luck

    I found my answer and you're right it seems. A whopping 1/2" of added coverage... I would've gone ahead and pulled the trigger for 3/4", but 1/2" is just sad... I get an additional 1/2" for free when my fenders are flapping in the wind!

    Apparently you get a whole 1" additional in the rear though which doesn't any sense to me. I would think that people would need more in the front...

    yea, they wont add too much more coverage over stock.. i bought mine because i liked the look, o i didnt really do before/after measurements...but, i have them on my truck and im also in So-Cal if you'd like to see them in person to get a better idea..

    they they do look badass, but to justify the $ it would be nice to get a little more function as well. I like the look of black on the ssm so I consider the bw flares so I'd be able to return to stock.

    I may just take you up on that

    that they do. I just can't bring myself to spend that kinda coin on something that's 95% aesthetic improvement
