Do these tires look lame?

I think I need some manly man tires, what think you? These are 265/70/16 Wranglers.

 

those don't look so bad, but a more aggressive tread pattern would look more manly man, no doubt.

 

Yes, the tread on your tire is in direct proportion to your male organ size.

oddly enough, I feel the same way..I hate the dungflop highway tires that came on my truck..Cant afford $1,000 in tires right now tho

They dont look bad, if you are talking about the size.

If you had a more aggressive looking tire it would look much better.

Yeah the chrome is slowly going away. Grill is getting replaced tomorrow and I'm going to start tearing the emblems off. When the weather warms up enough I'm going to black out the bumpers too. Last step the rims are going too.

 

Yeah I actually did re-think that but it doesn't seem to change.

Yeah, lots of wheel well there bro, the truck is really clean though. Blacked out/tinted all around would look clean!

 

if you do a lot of wheeling extra wheel well space isn't bad... i have 285/75/16 AT for daily driving and 265/75/16 MT for crawling. i think the 285s look better on the truck but you cant stuff them without major rubbing.

Your tires are fine. It's the rims that are a bit out of place. I read up there somewhere that you are planning to get rid of them...they'll probably fetch a pretty penny so you could take that and put it towards new, fancy tires on stock alloys or something.

 

thats the size that came on my truck too, i want some 265 75 16. but cant afford them yet so im waiting to save up some cash by the time mine wear out.

sell the rims and get some black steelies. Your truck would look good all back on red w/ no chrome.

 

that's why you lift it... If they rub, you set it up wrong (i.e. got too big of tires and/or didn't lift it appropriately).

It sounds like you've done it pretty much ass backwards. Most people, IF they have separate tires, wheel on the larger tires and street ride on the smaller, more fuel efficient tires.

Larger tires roll over rocks easier and give you a bit more ground clearance. If you set it up properly, you won't need to have separate tires for wheelin and street driving (since you can have the look of bigger tires you like AND be able to wheel with them).
