ok. i have trd cai and thats all i have done so far. i will be taking my taco off road soon so i need something thats practical but also something i can really enjoy. i would like to get exhaust but i dont know which one to get. i def dont wanna piss off the nieghbors but i want it to sound great and loud doesnt mean great in my book. i need some ideas that wont void my warranty. so any ideas would be greatly appriciated. thanks

The next largest HP gain besides a supercharger is the APR X-1. A custom tune, timing gears, and t-stat will net you around 20hp/30lbs of torque.

After that headers would be the next best seeing that you already have an intake. Intake + headers work well together for hp gains.

There are tons of posts about how nothing automatically voids you warranty-So make sure it is installed and used properly and you shouldn't have any issues.

Why are you opposed to an S/c?? Why do you want the additional power??

i really dont know all that much about motors and trannys and suspensions and all that. but one thing i do know is that i love to drive my tacoma and anything to make the driving experience better(within reason) i am all for. one thing i do know is that there are a lot of mods to do if you get a s/c. and times are a little rought right know with job security. if i had the money to blow i prolly would do it. but i dont so oh well. i dont know if it lowers the resale or not and i dont wanna f anything up. not wanting to f anything up and money are the two main reasons. i want more hp to have more fun with my tacoma. i drive street mostly but i will be taking it off road. just waiting for a the right time and place.
