I was super bummed and pissed, but in the end it can be fixed. Could've been a lot worse. Plus, I can get my fenders painted. :)

About 2 hours away from his shop. I will only be getting the spindles for my LT kit. The spindles for the long travel kit will not be compatible with the spindles for the mid travel kit.

Great to see you too, Matt. Brian and I discovered a way where we might be able to utilize our stock hub rather than a Ranger one. We're going to tinker around and see what we're dealing with. If this is the case, we may need to start getting some machine work done. We'll start gathering a number people who are interested to split the cost of the machine work because the more people willing to chip in, the cheaper the machining is on each set of spindles. As a result, a certain amount of people will be getting a smoking deal on some spindles, but unsure of the number.

im pretty sure they will be lift spindles. the reason for the different spindles between the tc and american motorsports kits is the upper uniball. tc are vertical and im pretty sure brian will do a horizontal uniball on his kits :D

Soon. Tim at Glassworks called me today. He said he would let me know when the fenders and bedsides are done. Went with the 6" flares considering the American Motorsports LT kit will be 5.5" over. As soon as the flares are done, I'm taking it to the body shop.

The spindle on the LT kit is bigger than stock. As Joel said, the LT kit spindle has a horizontal uniball while the lift spindle will be vertical in order to work with the TC UCAs.

Is your insurance paying for the body work?

I'm going through the insurance route since the cost of the damage far exceeds my deductible. I'm buying the flares and bedsides out of pocket, but I'm having them paint them for me while the truck is in the shop.

You sneaky man, so that means ur getting the fenders painted for free? Minus deductible? How does that affect your insurance rate?

Well, I'm actually giving them a pint of paint I never used. Won't be enough to paint the fenders on all 4 corners, but better than nothing. We've also known these guys for years.

Yes! :headbang: either a day in the dirt or when it warms up a camping trip over the weekend.
