    I have Blizzaks.... but I don't drive it in the winter. I take one of the other vehicles.

    As for other S/C'd tacomas I don't really know. I only know the S/C'd X's.

    ^True That. Question for you guys, if i have an air intake (aftermarket) can the S/C still be used?

    I have an AFE air intake with my supercharger. So it isn't a problem :)

    The techs in the back have also confirmed this with me as well.

    The only thing I would be leerie(sp?) about, is that with the 2012's they have an Air Injection pump by where the cold air intake box usually goes.

    Yup, I'm riding blizzaks too but my Xr's is my Daily Driver
    MOST will work, some air intakes don't work with some versions of S/C, just the way the piping routes

    I have a k&n open air kit on my truck. Only thing that didn't work was 1 vac line I needed to block off. Other than that it bolted up perfectly

    This man speaks the truth. I don't know about the 2012s and S/C's.

    As for all other intakes the simple answer is yes they will work (except for the URD TCAI because its location and the intercooler fit nicely. I think it could be done with some modification)

    The longer answer is that some intakes throw off the MAF readings. TRD 2nd gen intake, Volant etc. I have a TRD 1st gen which is the same as a AFE si and it works fine. With a tuning device such as the URD UCON unit, APR X1, AEM stand alone, Haltech etc other intakes can be tuned to work perfectly.

    Ill have to look into the intake, my plan is to put a MBRP exhaust and an open air intake. The S/C would be sweet but if i can put a intake but not the S/C then i wouldn't get a S/C. Ill probably stop by the stealership that i bought it from and talk to someone in the service department and any info i get ill share.

    No need to stop by your buying stealership, when I work at one.

    As of right now, Toyota (USA or Canada), hasn't released the supercharger parts or calibrations codes for the 2012. I know they did one for SEMA, but then again, they always usually do that. Typically it takes them a while to release them for sale in Canada, I know this last year for when we supercharged a 2011 Tundra, we had to get the calibration file emailed to us from a US dealer.

    Just keep checking in every now and then though for when it will get released.

    GTK that you work for a toyo dealership..... can you tell me if im able to add a aftermarket intake iwthought any extra mods to it or if the 12' will even accept putting one in (can it be done) ?

    At this point in time, there isn't a kit available just due to the fact that they now come with air injection pumps. The only thing available as of this moment would be drop in filters for the existing air box.

    Crud.... does this mean i have to wait for people to come out with exhausts or can i use one from a 2011 (year the aftermarket exhaust will fit)? will people like K&N and Airaid be coming out with the intakes .....?

    The exhaust system hasn't changed, at least to my knowledge, so an 11 system should still work with the 12, or you can go get a custom one done too. I can't really say if they will or won't but based on how popular the Tacoma is, they should have something coming, its just unknown as to when exactly they will be released.

    Alright this is actually very helpful, i already know what exhaust i want so maybe ill just get like a TRD filter and put the exhaust on for now and wait for new stuff to come out ...... i know it takes a wile so not stressin over it the longer stuff takes to come out the quicker i pay er off :D

    Hate to be the one to burst bubbles here... Apparently the exhaust has changed slightly at the headers. URD put out the call for anyone with a 2012 to come to their shop in order for them to get a set of headers measured up.

    Unfortunitely thats all I know, a phone call to URD would get you more info on that

    TRD = Toyota Racing Development
    URD = Underdog Racing Development

    URD is the aftermarket version of TRD, takes most things TRD makes and improves upon them. check em out here at www.urdusa.com

    The URD TCAI will fit the 2012 V6 Tacoma.

    The URD Y pipe and Cat-Back fit also.

    So there is a confirmed issue with the headers NOT fitting then?
