My truck still has mud in it from the November meet. :D

I doubt I've washed it more than a half-dozen times since I bought it 7 1/2 years ago. It helps that it's dirt-colored to begin with.

Very , Raymond. Let's plan on me swapping my truck for the Nissan the evening before, on the 7th, if that works for you.

When I get too old to ride my Ducati, I'll be selling it & buying something with 4 doors. :turtleride:

Speaking of which, as a thank-you I'd let you take a good ride on the Duc, if you think you could keep it rubber-side-down. :D It is scary-fast, though. You could use my gear, helmet & such, if you don't have yours anymore.

Ridden only by an old d00d. :D Well, I did let one younger guy ride it once, after a track day. He kept it under 150.

Never taken over 180, so far. Never dropped, and all services performed (I have a 3-year service contract on it).

It has a dry clutch, which takes a little getting used to, but no big deal.

    You have brains. :D

...and I've seen you wheel; no lack of cojones IMO.

The Duc was very stable at 177; since it's designed for racing a lot of attention was paid to aerodynamics at high speeds. The full-race bikes have the same bodywork.

Out of everything you said... that stood out the most... lol... capacitors are good for entry level type of stuff... if you are running a pretty powerful RMS amp then that capacitor is not going to keep up with the draw it is going to need and still require more draw from your autos electrical supplying source (alternator and battery) A capacitor will only keep up with the amount of electricity is capable of storing... Once it runs out it needs to recharge and starts drawing directly from the power source again. I used to run 3 12" JL W3s with a Rockford Fosgate X2 (good choice in amp btw) in a comp box.

How many channels on your amp? 2 or 4? Is it bridged?

*Edit* Nvm... Just went and looked at the pics again... 2 channel it is and it's bridged.

Good luck on finding someone that is going to take the time to do that much work plus finding someone who is willing to pay the labor for it... Plus it's always best to upgade the alternator if you are going to run that much wire all over again.

Wow, I cant believe those pix bought that much discussion. LOL I have been a fan of caps for a while, but I also run optima or Odyssey batteries too. I noticed after I put the cap on, that when I turn on my 6 x 55watt rock lights that the rest of the lights dont dim anymore. Plus I got that amp for $50 !! and he thru in the 1.7f cap for free! Those subs dont go too low, but they are very clean and tight. I was thinking about adding some bass shakers to seats for that low feel, ( I bought a shit load a few yrs back for my HT system and now they are just sitting in a box doing nothing) but I'm pretty happy with the system now, so I'll just leave it be.

What? I run 6 channels to a a active 3 way front stage and a bridged 2ch to the sub. Labor and run wire all over again? I don't think you know what the big three is. Its only three wires that are under the hood. Maybe 10-15 bucks in supplies and 15 min of time. I don't know what the fuck your talkng about. Lol
