    One of the more enjoyable trail activities is to have a small tree down in front of you and just plow through the fucker or push it out of the way.

    No hoop = shit I just mangled my grille.
    Hoop = tree slides down the hoop to the bumper, no problem!

    Stick on hood scoop from Autozone.
    Hoop, and bring the sides of the bumper out a little more to match up with the fender flares. There's virtually no protection there right now. :eek:

    I'm gonna say no hoop.

    I have yet to see a functional stinger on a 05+ Tacoma and IMO those aren't functional stingers. They just don't stick out far enough to make a difference and save your ass when the approach angles are horrible.

    No need IMO to put added weight up front but my grill and rad support is already FUBAR so take my opinion with a grain of salt if it's for animal impacts.

    I have zero issues slowly driving over small trees with no hoop...for that matter I had no issues driving over small trees when I had a avid bar.

    On the other hand if the hoop isn't just welded to the top and goes through the bumper and then is welded to the backside (like ARB) I could see it strengthening the bumper significantly.

    Ill be welding wings on both sides to take care of that issue. I have both wings cut out already just have to remove the bumper to weld them on.

    The hoop will be through the bumper and welded on top of the bumper and also on one of the main structural beams on the internal portion of the bumper

    IDK what speed you guys are running trees over but I never had an issue crawling over them lol I'm not going to post any pictures cause trees are offtrail, but I never had an issue swerving around a swamp hole into the woods taking a few out and I can't even balance a beer on my bumper it's so shallow.

    Sounds good then. Hope to see it in person one day when your done.
