Federal (and 99% of schwab's) tires are all made in china. If budget is an issue look for some decent used tires in the classifieds or something, but please don't buy china tires.

That's been put on hold for a while. I'm getting married in six months and then I'm going on my honeymoon to Iceland for a couple weeks. Then I have to settle into a new house and what not. Once that's all done I can start playing with the truck again. We're looking at about a year. That's why I decided to buy the 37's to keep me happy for the time being.

Audio install is 95% done now. I just need to get the head unit.

Already do. I had them install it, since they cut me a deal and I wanted to make sure it was done correctly since I went to the top of my budget. Right now it is running off of some line convertors and it hits. I've only listened to the radio with (as I am burning a CD currently). Here are the specs (from Hertz's website).

    Amp:

    Hertz HE2.1
    Output Power @ 14.4c = 200w x1 @ 4ohm
    320w x1 @ 2ohm
    450w x1 @ 1ohm
    Distorsion - THD (100hZ@4ohm) = 0.15%
    S/N Ratio (A weighted@1 V) = 100dB
    Damping Factor (100 Hz@4ohm) = 150
    Size (mm) = 266x289x63.5

    Sub:

    Hertz ES 250 D
    10"
    Dual voice coil
    Sensitivity: 91.5 dB/SPL
Power Handling: 500w peak, 250w continuous
    Prequency Response: 28Hz-300Hz

    And on to the photos:

    Thanks.

If you want to fund it I can make you a build thread right now. I need a bigger garage first. So lets start with that :D

Yeah, I'm pretty excited about the trip. Got two first class tickets and bags packed. Just have to wait until June 4th now. I've talked with the Arctic Trucks guys over there and I'll be renting one of their modded Hilux's while we're there. They agreed to sell me some flares as well but I have to check them out in person first to see if they'll work for me. I'll come back with lots of pictures.

You're so lucky you're going to get to drive one of those Hilux's!

Marines must not run very much. Army shoes wear out in 6 months, 50 miles a week X25 weeks= 1250 miles and some blown out sneekers. Just messing with you man-

I have KM2's (not siped) its good in snow/powder, when it gets slushy and there is still road contact it works well. It sucks when it has a base of ice or hard pack and leaves A LOT to be desire...like lateral traction, lol. You can drive around the issues with the tire and sipe to help. I'm trying to decide on my next set right now...meh, options.

    37's...I'd go IROK

My siped KM2s haven't given me any issues thus far the couple times I've driven in the snow up here with them.

I've never had problems with rain until moving up here. I-5 through Oly gets kinda wiggly feeling, and I get a little squirrely in the roundabouts. Maybe I'm just driving too fast up here.

Quick question hopefully some of you may know.

I'm selling my stock rear TRD Sport Bilstein shocks on craigslist, somebody just called asking if they'll fit on a 2000 4Runner. Will they? I'm guessing not  but still thought I'd ask.

    Thanks
