I recently started a new job after being laid off for a couple of months. I was told that I was hired because of my experience with a piece of equipment that was being used that I was familar with. Long story short I was hired to replace someone that is still there!!! I wasn't aware of this, but after meeting and working with him I can understand why.

Well yesterday I was one of the last people to leave the office. As I started pulling out of the parking lot, I hear an awful scratching noise. I stop to inspect the sound and someone has shoved a stick in my passenger side fenderwell above my tire. I can't think of anyway possible that stick could have gotten above the tire and me not notice that morning. This stick was about 3' long. It had to have been put there.

I showed it to a co-worker and he said someone had to have put that there. I have to agree. I take my truck everywhere, and have never seen anything like that. I'm starting to wonder what is going to be next. I don't think this guy knows how much I love my truck. BTW he drives a Scion. Am I overeacting? What do you guys/gals think?

I agree. DONT TOUCH MY TRUCK. I dont care if someone I know is around, on , or in, but I dont want someone I dont know near it, or touching it.

One time I was coming out of a store just in time to see a young man simply standing alongside a corvette admiring it....then the owner walking up to him and PUNCHING him in the mouth as he yelled "dont get near my car asshole"-THAT is overreacting. Your case someone is physically in your truck's "personal space"
Dont hit, just let them know.

Any way to set up a video camera? Plenty of insurance, park where it's visible from the street and lot's of traffic and people. It sucks to have to worry about something like this.

i used to constantly walk outside to find salesman leaning against my truck while they took a smoke break. i wold calmly ask them to not touch my truck. this went on for about two weeks. then one day, i told two of them that if i ever saw them leaning on my shit again, i would punch their teeth down their throats.
    seriously though, that sucks.

No, it is a company parking lot. Everyone in that department parks together. Someone had to have seen it, but I am the new guy stealing some guys job so nobody is going to tell me. Really sucks. I don't want to leave my truck there and I asked my boss if I could park elsewhere and I was told no. I really don't want anything else to happen to my truck. I am going to have to go unemployed again if this dosen't end well.;)

Wish I could. It seems so disrespectful to mess with someone's stuff but it obviously didn't bother that bastard. But I guess I can't fall to his level. Hope that scion breaks down on him though:D

That sucks man hope all ends well. Noticed some guy following me today (not all that unusual) yet he never stopped to talk or return a wave, gave me an uneasy feeling. Most, when given the chance will speak up but this guy just drove around the parking lot. So I started following him.

Hell I had a good time today I had some time to kill while waiting on my girlfriend to get her lunch break, so I told a salesman at a dodge dealership that I wanted to trade my truck in on a new challenger. He was happy as hell until I left. I will say this those cars are pretty nice. He however wasn't nearly as happy as the guy at the Nissian dealership when I went look at the Titans. No don't really want any of those vehicles but I do like to learn about them.

I walked out of a 7-11 last night to see someone pull up dangerously close to my truck (especially since she had two empty stalls to her right). She says something to the passenger, then spins around like she's about to throw the door open. She saw me glaring at her mid-spin, stopped herself, and carefully opened her door as she got out. Needless to say, I was nervous.

My question to you is, do you have any proof it was the guy in the scion? or do you just suspect him?

Im the same way about my truck. I dont care if its brand-new or a rusted-out POS, I take pride in what I drive and I would have no mercy for anyone who messed with it.

No more than he was one of two people that could have done it, I just think it is him because all week he has talked about how someone is going to get fired because I showed up. But I am not 100% sure. That is why I haven't said anything.

yeah I feel your pain, seems like everytime my wife and I go there her car comes back with another ding. And if you think I am bad about my truck, she loves her camry. There has been a couple of times I thought she was going to go apesh*t. I would have to pity any person got caught dinging her car.:)
