You guys ever have a shoulder impingement?

Any advice as to continue working out while being sure to avoid exercises that can cause more pain?

you can really tell a huge difference in the gym when you havent eaten well that day. Someone apparently doesnt want me to get my calories in today. after the gym i went to subway right when they got it out the toaster i had to leave for another call then come and get my soggy sub 2hrs later :(

on the side note when doing up right rows with an EZ bar it hurts my shoulder, but with a 45lb plate i can do it with no shoulder pain, any reason why and is one better than the other?

Try a kettle bell. You may have you hands too far apart on the EZ bar and possible bad angle with an over extension. Try a straight bar with hands about a foot apart or a kettle bell.

I think it has something to do with how the weight ur using on the ez-curl is placed throughout the bar where the 45lb plate or whatever your using, is just in one area...if they makes sense? In addition to weight placement your grip may be different
