Checked the scan gauge, and nothing is showing up. The only thing I can think of is the fuel filter or something with the ignition like a coil pack (not sure our truck has that or not) but i am at a loss since no codes have been thrown.

Basically stock. OME 882s, HD Dakars and nitrochrgers, TG front bumper, custom rear bumper, 4Xinnovations sliders, RAT skids, Softopper, 255/85/16 ST MAXX's on 16" steelies, 1" B.O.R.A. wheel spacers Scangaugae II, deck plate mod, grey wire mod,ECGS bushing, diff breather relocation, alarm mod, defrost w/o compressor mod, de-badged, sockmonkey beside decals.
doing great, thanks! katie is one year old today! wow it has flown by. loving every minute of it though. havnt been around here much lately. as far as mods go i got my wheel spacers on few weeks after my 5100 install. like the stance, which is back to factory width. the ride is pretty much the same as stock, so rough as hell. overall im happy with it. im dying to go offroading though. going to try and get a bills 491 meet going soon hopefully.

congats on your promotion neil. sucks your truck has been acting up. my truck has done the same thing. it does it maybe once a year and thats it. good luck figuring it out

Neil, spark plugs. Fuel filter. Air Filter... those are easy things to check.

Mod wise, only got the wet okles seat covers in. On both sides. Still not too happy with them to be honest. But I guess ill live with them.

Motorcycle wise. I have new gears coming for it. To give me better power off the get go.

I ended up buying a 2000 Suzuki Hayabusa off a buddy needing money. Got it cleaned up, and now hes got his money back, and is buying it for more money then I bought it for him. So always good in my book.

Need some tires, but Ill probably wait until I buy some Pro Comps to see what size I go with.

    congrats on the promotion!

As far as the not starting goes... If it was cold (I was in FL last week so I have no idea the weather) maybe you had a bit of frozen gas in the line?

They made t-100s until 98 so it will have either the 2.7 or the 3.4 :)

The newest mod to my truck is a B.A.M.F. diff skid

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
98% positive its a 3.4. The 2.7 would be a dog in that configuration. Very solid trucks. My '95 had 189,000 on it when I sold it in 2007. AFAIK, its still running around, though I haven't seen it for a while. Be sure to have the timing belt changed at 200k. Miss my old one. Drove for six years starting at 98,000...had it towed one time due to bad fuel. Other than that it never let me down.

Its amazing how fast time goes with little ones. Next thing you know she will be walking/talking. Over the holiday I got to spend sometime with my niece from FL. She is now almost 3, and it talking/walking. She is a wild one... lol... Its amazing how quickly time goes by.

Yeah a meet down there would be fun at some point when the weather is a little warmer. Glad you finally got the 5100's put on, I'm still really happy with my 5100's in the front and the Daraks in the back. Even tho the Daraks sqweak its a huge improvement of what I had in the past.

When I had my 4Runner with the 3.4 it would occasionally do that same thing my truck is doing now. My truck hasn't done it since so I'm not really 2 concerened.

Glad things are going well, hopefully I be able to spend a little more time on here in the months to come as I haven't been on much lately.

Just changed the plus in the spring, and the air filter on my last oil change. I have never changed the fuel filter so that might be the issue. Unless it continues doing it I'm not really going tp spend to much time looking into it.

Anyone changed the fuel filter on these before?

Congrats on the new bike, dont kill yourself on that thing. haha

The day it happened it wasn't all that cold and i had just driven it a couple of hours prior. I'm a little mistified esp. since I haven't had a check engine light.

Yeah it would just turn over and no start

Wow that sucks, I got backed into at work by an unlicensed/uninsured guy I work with and wound up getting a little $$ for what amounts to a decent sized dent in the bedside...sucks but it should help pay for new tires and a topper!

On that note, if anybody sees a topper for an extended cab 1st gen Taco I'm looking to buy.

Wow that sucks, glad you are ok. Any pictures?

I made the mistake of backing out of the garage a few nights ago and not paying attention. BAM... My roommates Impala was parked right behind me. Good thing I had my hitch on, not so good for him. I put my hitch through his grill and messed up his hood. Prolly atleast 1k in damage. Tacoma 1 Impala -1.

I have a topper that came from one of my dads rental properties. Its black, and in decent condition. I dont know what it came off of so I couldn't tell you for sure if it would fit but it measure 81x64. Its on CL for $125.00

Hmm if it fits I'll take it, just looking for something to get me by for my American LeMans "camping" trips planned this year, heading to Sebring, FL for the 12hour and Mid Ohio...too much fun for the tent to handle and I'd rather not break another one!
