If it's what you want, go for it. Just realize it's the worst kind of lift you can do for actual ride quality :)

Ok well Im back...Was out of town for 2 weeks for the holidays.
Looking to get my lift this month.

They tell me its a 6" lift....not sure...what are your thoughts? I thought Spindles were only 4"?

    Here is the Break Down:

    -Camb Spindle kit
    -Adjt. 5100 Billies
    -2" fabtech Block and add-a-leaf
-295/70/18 Nitto Terras (34.4"H 11.8W) (Didnt want to wide...dont want to rub)
-18" (-12 offset) KMC XD Hoss (Gloss Black)

Keep in mind...I probably won't be doing any heavy wheeling. If anything just light stuff.

Let me know what you guys think?

    Thx

Don't do It man!. I'm not being a dick. Don't stack lifts.. period. And dont run blocks. If you HAVE to have 6"... Go with a drop bracket atleast. Your best bet would either be 5100's or spindles, and leave It at that.
Others will chime In as well.

Good to see you back. Thought I scared you off. I did notice your truck was in one spot for a long time. Lol

Edit: I saw your edit. Lol. So your not going 6" then right? Just 4" spindles? And the block in the rear? Than that's better, but blocks still are a no no in my book. Haha

Yeah its good to be back...2 weeks is a long time to be with family. I need my space man.
    Well..No I do want 6" ride hight.

Front: Spindles are 4" w/ up to 2.5" adjustable Coilover Bilstein 5100's (so can be up to 6.5")
Rear: Fabtech add-a-leaf and only a 2" block.

Should even out to about 6" or so.

How else would I get the rear up? Don't all 6" lifts like fabtech and pro-comp have at least some block in the rear?

So whats wrong with the 4" spindle & 2" adj. on the billies? I just figured this set up would ride a little better?

My bad, just got home. Well first of all. Anything over 3" your gonna have cv angle issues and youll need new ucas. Second, preloading the 5100's that much will cause for a stiff ride and is bad for the shocks. And I'm not 100% but I dont think you can even do that set up. Lol. You'd be better off either going 3" or a DB 6". Imo

    Josh,
He is a pre-runner... No CV's to worry about. Thats why he is going with spindles. I do agree, dont go with the spacers in back, get a good leaf pack/AAL.

Pre-loading your shocks that much will make it ride harsh. My fox coils are jacked way up and its a pretty rough ride right now until I get some weight on them.

    Ok...Thanks all for the comments.
I see that the Procomp lift is a great deal. But I don't know how I feel about buying a used lift? And on top of it he wheels a lot and its probably road hard and put up wet.

The main reason I was thinking about this set up was I can get the spindle and adjt. billies and all for $1600.00. (Installed is an extra $525) The guys over at Desert Rat are recommending it. I guess they have it on a few of there rides and say it works well.
Does anyone sell just the DB? Or is it only sold in the Expensive kits?

I do want a smoother ride so...I still want good shocks like the coil over billies 5100, but maybe I can find a DB somewhere and have them install the same set up with out the spindles. Would that system work well? As far as the back going to stick with the add a leaf and 2" block. Not going to spend the dough for a new leaf if I don't plan on doing much wheeling.

Ahh so much to think about.
    Let me know.
