    Lots of nice looking trucks on this thread. Has anybody installed a 6" lift on their Tacoma and then later on decided they wanted to remove the lift? What options do you have if you wanted to remove it and go with a smaller lift or even back to stock. I'm assuming if you cut the cross member you're stuck with the lift. Anybody care to shed some light on this? Thank TW!

    I have seen this question a lot, and frankly don't understand it. If that is a valid question, I'd recommend staying in the 3" land...

    I cannot imagine ever dumping this kind of money into a truck then want to reverse it at some point. To each they own, but if you aren't sure you want it for good, then maybe it isn't for you?:confused:

    If you have a 4x4, you have to cut for a 6" lift. Technically speaking, you *can* weld the cut piece back, but I wouldn't recommend that truck be driven or sold here in the US.

    3" Toytec Ultimate Lift, 315/70R17 Duratracs, RW Wheels, Grillcraft Grill, Toyota "Raptor" Lettering and more
    i went 6" and love it. Wouldn't want to downgrade to a 3", would be dumb and a waste of money. The only thought about removing it is to go to a solid front axle.
    3" lifts can perform just as well on the trails, just have to do a little more navigating without the added clearance.

    My ProComp is getting installed at the end of the month. I'm going with 33's because it'll be way too slow with 35's and the 4 cylinder. I think it'll look ok.

    I love my Fab 6" and 33"s. I was going to bump up to 35"s this spring but more rubber = more braking, more weight, maybe a tad bit of rubbing, etc.

    Think i'll stick with the 33"s. The 33" TOYO is a tad over 34" so you hit middle of the road with that tire!
