ordered new leaf pack, rear struts, timbrens bump stopswith ubolt flip kit and extended brake lines

 

Changed the pullies and changed the transmission fluid

Started the Satoshi mod. Got the grill all cut out. Working on getting the outer surround painted and waiting on my mesh to get here. Also did the map lights on with dome lights mod.

^^ I might need to get me one of those. I hate when the tailgate slams down. That and a stubby antenna. Will the reception be affected at all with a short antenna?

 

Hey, what the name and model of that? I want to get one on my truck and havent really done a lot of research on them. How does it work?? do you use all existing holes or you need to drill new or what??

finished repainting my shifter trim. 20k miles after the first paint job it was starting to chip around the change tray. This time I repainted it in durable VHT wrinkle black paint...

30 bucks at checker/oriley what ever it is called now.

 

got my new deck installed. (technically it was yesterday) but its a JVC KW-AVX840 7" Double-Din. Love the Bluetooth wireless music streaming. love to just hit play when my iPhone is still in my pocket.

 

I can't remember the name. Just open the photo I put the package in the photo. I got it from checker/oriley for $30. I did not reasearch it was an impulse buy.

It basicly keeps it from slamming down when you open it so you can just click the handle and let go.

So for the install you remove the stud on the truck on the upper part of the gate wire and install a different longer one. Then on the gate hinge you remove one of the two screws add a bracket put screw back in. Then put in ram and 2 C-clips and that is it.

Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer brake. If your truck comes with the trailer brake pig tail this is easy as pie. This sure makes a heavier trailer feel like it is hardly there. I just remembered the only hard part was finding the plug in by the parking brake and then getting my hand snaked up in there to plug in. Just that part I spent 15 mins. Stupid small spaces.

 

I haven't paid much attention to her lately, so today, I took her outside, got her nice and wet, gave her a good rub down, then cleaned out the insides.

 

I just put one of these stubby antennas on. My radio reception sounds a bit better actually. It's nice not scraping going into garage.
