I know this video without even watching it.
He tried to jump into water off a pier. It was a good 5-10 meter jump. Dude broke his fall with this face.

    Not cool, not cool.

yup Hotel is still like that plus now the Females from Alpha Co stay there too for some reason. People got super depressed at golf when they found out they were going to Bravo. It also sucked cuz we had the highest number of profiles , visits to the chaplain and suicide watch people. The Lt Col and Chaplain came down several times to hand the 1sgt her ass and the CO his ass too for treating us so shitty

Also Delta used to be on the other side of Slagel where EMT courses are now taught

really they stay there? and yea. We were at Slagel one afternoon and the 1sg and CO from bravo came in there and started screwing with us (Delta Co) and Our 1sg and CO came in and they had a huge scream fight outside and it was crazy. And my friend just came home from bravo co 2 weeks ago and all she says was that it was hell.

    Hit the concrete dock.

Personally. I wouldn't even think about doing a ET tube. I would go straight to a surgical airway. The chances you FINDING the trachea is very low.

Good point. I'd get large IV's, drop a shit load of LR into them. Drive fast to a level 1 hosptial. Basically hold pressure until a doc takes over

HA. Or just have 2 ET tubes, shove one into a hole, ventilate. If your in the lungs good. If you're not, leave it there and shove the other tube into the other hole. Done and Done

Almost every EMS or Fire agency allows you to have tattos as long as they are not visable wearing a short sleeve uniform.

Some FD's don't care, especially the smaller ones. I have a buddy that is a fire/medic at a local dept. and has full sleeves that they don't make him cover up.

Are family members allowed to ride in ambulance if loved one is being transported?

Are Jaws of life hand powered, electric, or air powered...I know they are hydraulic but im curious as to where the cord on them leads?

Ever gotten called out to the "hood" or "ghetto" where police arent welcome and you can tell its hostile?

Whats the guided speed limited when you use blinkies + woohoo's? 15, 20, 25 mph over limit?

How come in some counties a county/government ambulance responds, along with a private ambulance (IE: sunstar), but the private ambulance most always transports the PT?

Most powerful pain meds able to give in transport/practice for emts + medics?

Drowning call where the PT has been trapped by forceful suction on a pool drain?

    What was your first call?

Curious but impractical scenario; A cop car is going behind you with lights and sirens on while you have your lights and siren on, what do you do?

we usually allow them to ride up front. unless the patient is a small child and then we allow the parent to ride in the back with their child.

there hydraulic, and the cord leads to a hydraulic pump? ive seen some electric ones but they are useless IMO

When u can tell its hostile just watch ur 6 and watch what u say and GTFO

Ur only supposed to do "15 over". but u have to be safe, watch what your doing, and watch what the other retards on the road doing.

ill let the medics who have higher training answer the rest.

but my first call was a suicide. .38 snub nose to the noggin, it was everywhere..

and the cop behind you? If you are running code (lights and sirens) he can just follow you or zip around you (which they mainly do)

ummmm. honestly. if you are transporting a patient. You cant just pull over. I asked this question when i first started and they said just radio it in and tell the officer you will meet up at the hospital?
