Just got my coilovers installed last night, got a full 3 inches of lift out of them and the sway bar was a major pain in my ass.... Anyway I destroyed my links, so if I keep the bar I'll need to replace those... I guess I'm wondering what everyone else has done with their sway bars?

Looks like the skids have to come off to get it out, correct?

I tried with all my limited ability to get it out without taking off the skids and no luck.
Used a cut off wheel to slice the bar to save taking off the skids.
    Oh well.

I have not installed my set up yet but I have toyed around here and there to get it ready. One thing I did do was pull the sway bar completely. You do have to pull the skid but I didn't remove my wheels. A lot of guys are running without them including me. Honestly I didn't notice much difference at all.

What set up did you go with?

I took my sway bar off about a month ago. I will never go back to it, it just like the way it feels on the road better, not to mention more travel off roading. I got it off without removing the wheels and tires though. WD-40 is your friend.....

I took mine off and I couldn't tell a difference even with OME 886's and a ARB bumper.

I had mine on with a relocation bracket but eventually just took it off. Best decision ever.

Take it off see how it feels, if you don’t like it put it back on.

It's not a ton of flex but you can't do this with a sway bar on.
