I finally put a winch in my ARB bull bumper. I'm not so happy with the ride/height now. I want to upgrade to 882 springs. Before I pay to have the struts broken down, I'm contemplating a whole new assembly. That is, if there's interest in my old used set.

So, they aren't so pretty. The yellow struts and black springs are fading to brown. They have about 6 years and 50k miles. Any interest?

Sooo...you posted a pic but its not of the actual item that you are trying to sell?

Thats a Bilstein shock, not OME, by the way. And it appears to belong to TW member barlowrs.....

@ new pic: woah...those are rusty!

I think you would increase your chances of selling them if you cleaned them up and re-painted them.

And whats the lifespan on OME struts/shocks? 50K is alot.

The coils are probably fine though...just need some paint.

Not sure on the longevity. I'd rather a potential buyer see them as they are. Just wondering if there's interest.

sure I can understand letting the buyer "see them as they are" but I wouldn't give you $20 for those rusty coils. An hour's work and some duplicolor black gloss paint would have them looking brand new.

I'm not sure what shipping would be but I'm afraid the difference won't persuade me towards a new set. I'll probably stick with what I got or swap out the springs.
