    You obviously have not been paying attention to the weather conditions out here...records highs lately, not a lot of new snow. The ski areas are open though.

    Discovery has been eh ok. Lost trail was upsetting, it was really icey. Last I heard Big Sky had the most, but not 100% on that.

    Right now Red Lodge has the best conditions in the country. We have been making national news, because for some reason we are getting pummeled with snow. We have had 100% open since the first of December (which has NEVER happened). It is a good ski area with some great terrain on the back and lower sides

    Really? I was there on xmas eve and it was okay..was great for the morning but by afternoon the backside had frozen over and was icey again.

    Lisa, any where up the drainages of Rock Creek has good coverage for some snowshoeing. Sylan Peak Mountain shop on main street always has updated info on conditions.

    We have a nordic ski trail area also. Just out of town. In town, we have a foot of snow right now.

    We got some more snow since Christmas Eve. However, it is all groomed or mogul trails right now. The powder stashes are still o.k. and are secret. :cool:
