    Just realized all of the newer model trucks are all 6.0L

    I'm thinking like 04+

    Someone explain why the 6.0 is a bad motor please..

    Nevermind. I will not be buying a 6.0. Just read the first couple of articles.

    Ill stick with a 1999, 2001,2000 year models

    Adam.... really.... a diesel?

    Running cost is higher; maintenance is higher, repair bills are higher, and the list goes on and on. What are you gaining by this move? Less or same MPG, more power that you really have no need for, and a truck that is bigger than some NY City apartments.

    I've operated Fords since 1989. The 89's weren't so bad, but since then, their reliability has gone down hill. Fanboyism aside, I had a 98 than has more mechanical problems than any vehicle over 100K miles on it @40K !! Transmission, fuel pump, AC, and on. Lemon law only covers the same part. All of these things under warrenty but you know what's more annoying that shop time? HAVING NO VEHICLE! Seriously though, my dad has nothing but fords and is in the shop more than my toyota.

    I dunno, maybe I'm biased against fords, but the reliability is lower that a toyota, but a Tundra has towing power if that's what you are after. Hell, try out a ridgeline before you go Ford :)

    I got one thing to say out of all that, why the hell would anyone drive a ridgeline, even Adam for that matter, Adams alittle more country than that :D
