I'm not giving anyone crap. I've actually spent those posts asking questions, if you note.

But I think my point's been made nonetheless.

I don't have a build thread, just random post on ttora over the years. It technically is a desert ride, but since I moved to Oregon I figured I better add an ARB up front so I ordered one today. I'm not the most hardcore wheeler on here, monkeyproof is. I remember when that dude showed up on Miller Jeep Trail with a shiny new tacoma with dealer plates, and by the end of the trail his rocker panels were mashed in and he wasn't crying. That's hardcore in my book. I bet my truck has been to more countries than anyone else here though. 23 and counting, from the sugar snow of the arctic circle to the silt of baja. So I guess that makes it an expedition rig? lol

Re: Who wheels their truck the hardest...

Oh yeah? Well, I have managed to get stuck more than probably anyone on this board! Whats up now?!? I mean, sure, I have a stock height truck, stock Rugged Fails, and, oh yeah, its 2WD, that doesnt help anything...but I think if we go off number of times stuck, I have this one in the bag! Lol.I have, so far, busted, dented, or other wise jacked up(and, for the most part fixed or replaced):
    Mud Flaps(those stayed off)
    Step Bars
Front "skid plate", and I use that term loosely
Front bumper(the lower valance, that everyone paints black)
    Passenger side Tail Light
and, as the coup de grace, the rear, drivers side door(I kinda, half-flopped it while attempting to go through a rather deep wash out on a trail.Learning point however...I learned exactly what the trucks breakover angle is, a useful bit of info for future reference)

All told...my insurance company is begining to dislike me. Real conversation with said insurance adjuster: "So you are telling me that huge dent in your door, and the mud covering the entire cab...all came from this parking lot?""Uhh, yeah, must have been another dent-and-run. Seems to be pretty common these day..."

That being said...thats the reason Im not gonna modify this truck...I would be way too tempted to genuinely "wheel" it...probably a bad idea.

As far as the poll...I thought about that, but I was hoping for more detailed explanations. I am confident there would be plenty of people(for both votes) who simply clicked a vote, because they heard kit a, b, or c was garbage, and kit x, y, or z was the shiznit. Kinda wanted the educated opinion, not the bandwagon "DB kits sucks! Cuz, thats why!" answers.
