That's because you've had them in 6" of snow, where they're great. Ice and slush is a different story, they're the worst!

Are those all weights on both of the wheels??

I've had them in slush, they were fine in slush. I can't say I've dealt with too much ice with them though. Don't really plan on it either. ;)

I have this AR-15, and I just picked up a rail for the handle. Here's a couple pics of what I got. I want to put a scope on it but not sure what to put on it. Its a budget build. Blurry pics but any advice would be appreciated :)

You look through the B/S/T section of NWFA? You could decide what to put on while seeing what other people are selling cheap.

I've never seen a rail like that for the handle. If you can get the scope to sit down near the barrel, you are in luck, but I wonder where you'd find a scope that is going to be that long in the middle before it widens. If the scope sits on top of the handle, you are straight fucked.

    Here's why:

My bud had a Bushmaster AR, which he bought a 20-some-odd-inch upper for a 'sniping setup' he didn't think about it at the time, but it had a non-removable handle.
He bought a cheap NC Star scope, something like a couple hundred bucks, also bought a tactical rail that fit in the channel of the handle.
Got it sighted, off to the gun range.
Worked great at about 50 yards. Switched to 200 yards and couldn't hit crap. After a day of shooting, he had trouble with the 50 yard target.
After re-sighting it in 3 times, he finally talked to a gunsmith and learned a lesson:
First, a gun like that has a lot of recoil. You need a scope that can handle that, otherwise everything jounces around and goes out of alignment. Prepare to shell out some cash.
Second, the scope is so high off from the barrel, even a change in 50 yards is going to necessitate a change in your scope's elevation adjustments.

My advice is sell the upper or go with a 10x, or halo sights. Removable handle is a must for me.

My AR has less recoil then my Daisy pellet gun

The type of "scope" i'm looking for is something that works with my iron sight.
